Pink Bones Jewellery

My name is Ashleigh and I have become addicted to making my own barbed wire jewellery.

I was so inspired by some beaut earrings I had bought from Halina Mutinta for my birthday (it was during lockdown so felt the need to treat myself). They are very cute small barbed wire hoops and they are pretty much surgically attached to me.

I was super bored because I had been furloughed and decided to get some cheap craft wire and try and make my own barbed wire charms. It took quite a few times but then it clicked and then I could not stop making them. I thought they would be cute for jewellery so decided to have a go myself. After buying materials that would tarnish I decided to look at gold filled jewellery bits.

This was one of the best ones I have done, but with copper coated materials so would tarnish pretty much after the first couple of wears.

This is one of the first barbed wire necklaces I made and will be for sale on my Etsy. It is on a really fine chain which I think pairs nicely with the charm.

This is a pair of cute little barbed wire earrings, I absolutely love these and made a paid with little heart studs too. Everything is made with gold filled jewellery findings. I am that person who likes to keep jewellery on for long periods of time (including the shower) without it tarnishing, so it was really important to factor this in when making each piece.

Thank you so much for reading, you can see more pieces on my instagram!!
