ITS HERE // Still Emo Tote

Here it is, I am so so chuffed with this bag. I really wanted to make something I can use on a daily basis, plus my old Gnarwolves tote is literally falling apart hah.
I was driving back from Birmingham and decided to put on my ipod which I never ever use, but has so many banging tunes on from years ago,  I had the best drive just singing (badly) to all of my fave bands, like Taking Back Sunday, Aiden, Bullet, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, The Used.. the list goes on. I realised that even now at the age of 28 I am still emo and probably wont stop listening to these bands at all, it was defo not a phase hah!

But I hope you like this tote as much as I do, because I am really pleased with it, I would like to do more and maybe some prints or mugs, because who doesn't love a novelty mug lol.
They will be available on Pink Bones super soon.

Thank you for reading!

Cute lunch spots and charity shops // Go on

I love this skirt too much, first of all its elasticated so you can eat whatever and it wont be uncomfortable and secondly its super flattering. I just wore it with my born to lose jacket and of course my still emo tote teehee.

Saturday I had lunch at Monstera Canteen again, I ordered the mac and cheese which was banging. My bf ordered the buffalo cauliflower sub and that was bloody delicious. So much good food and just such a nice place to grab lunch, would 10/10 recommend

Sunday I was in bed for the majority of the day and thought it would be a good idea to go outside into the sun, so my mum and I headed to our local Cancer Research charity shop and I found this super cute tshirt dress, originally missguided and then this sick af fake leather jacket from Asos. Both were under a tenner which is always great. You can find so many gems in charity shops and would highly recommend you visit one near you. Its also super fun to see what weird and wonderful things you can find. They pretty much always have books and dvds so I also picked up 3 books to read for my holiday. I always seems to get thrillers lol, and I am already nervous to read them because I am a baby.

Thank you for sticking around and reading!!

Monstera Canteen // go on

SO Monstera Canteen has just opened up and I would URGE you to go there NOW! Its all vegan and homemade by Greg the owner. The aesthetic is literally beaut and the atmosphere is so chill, the perfect spot for some scran if you are feeling hungry, or just want a delicious treat.

I had the traditional breakfast which featured this bloody delicious tofu scrambled (fake) eggs, the seasoning was banging and perfect. I always thought of tofu as being pretty tasteless so he has done a fab job with a staple in a fry up.
You know after a greasy spoons you feel disgustang? Well after this I felt fab, I also had a wedding that afternoon and felt fine in my dress and ready to drink  A LOT of prosecco from the free bar.

There are adorable plants on the wall and so many treats next to the counter, all vegan. Also if you can please try some of the baked goods made by Nancy. She makes so many sweet treats and again all vegan and delicious. If you get a chance to go please do, you wont regret it.
ALSO two doors down is Rivergate Tattoo, if you want a sick banger go visit the queens there, the majority of my tattoos have been done there and I am bared chuffed with all of them.

On another note I have become recently obsessed with growing things, from left to right I have some tomato seeds, rocket seeds, then strawberries, the herbs are thyme and rosemary and also some lovely lavender (not sure what the red plant is). I am loving it and getting far too excited as soon as the little seedling starts to grow. Its so satisfying and I am just hoping I can grow something edible lol.

Thank you for reading, soz thats its all over the place!!

All Points East Festival

Bag is form Dr martens and belt is New Look

A few weeks ago I went to All Points East, I had no plans to go because I went to Slam Dunk instead and didnt really have the money for both. BUT the week before my friend texted me asking if I wanted to go and I said well yeh, to see Bring Me The Horizon and Architects would be so sick. But its hella expensive to go? For some reason O2 were offering FREE tickets to the festival which is madness! I couldnt believe it but wasnt going to miss it considering its a freebie.

My boyfriend was so hyped because he loves Bring Me so much, and I was so happy to be seeing them and Architects. A couple years ago Architects were due to play Download but unfortunately that was when Tom was very ill so they had to pull the set and a couple months later he sadly passed away. I feel so grateful that I was able to see them at All Points East, I absolutely LOVED their album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us and I am so grateful to have watched them on a beautiful friday evening.
Bring me absolutely nailed their set, my bf and had such a great time, I even ended up on his shoulders and luckily neither of us fell and lost our teeth - bonus.
The evening was so good and I am so bloody pleased I was able to go. Safe to say I wasnt feeling 100% for work the next day teehee.

Its was really warm so I just wore my black midi dress and my born to lose jacket which is from the Ragged Priest a couple years ago, still one of my fave jackets I own. I also have born to lose tattooed on my leg haha!

If you have any fun shows coming up I would love to know, I havent got any more gigs lined up for this year and I really want one! I am so jelly of everyone at Download this weekend too!!

Thanks for reading!!

Cow Print Co Ord of Ma Dreamz / Slam Dunk Festival

Last year co ords were huge, partly because they do look so sick!!! I bought this last year as two separate pieces because I wanted a cow print co ord so badly and not one that was super expensive. The jacket is from isawitfirst and the skirt Boohoo, but you could never tell!!

The vest is just a cheap one from Primark and then I paired this with my docs to tie it all together, I felt like a boss bish wearing this.

So yes the lights are extra af! They are from my boyfriends stage show (he was in a band) and as we were clearing our flat I was like OMG LET USE THE LIGHTS. So things just escalated from there haa.

A week today is Slam Dunk and I am pretty sure this is what I'm going to wear because where else would I wear this. I don't really go out to places that I could wear this and not be judged. Plus docs are good incase it rains and I might take a little anorak that can fit in a small bag, as ya know I don't like getting cold.

Let me know if you are going to Slam Dunk this year!!! Im so excited!

Wahey another blog post

HI GUYS

I bet no one expected me to come back with ANOTHER post! Just a quick appreciation post about  this dress from Nasty Gal here.

First thoughts was I look like a Priest/Nun, but I jazzed it  up with a belt and added my Dr Martens and felt bare goth, but also cool af.

Just to break up the black I added my blue leather jacket which I thought was fab. I went for a bottomless brunch on Saturday and wore it, its perfect for eating and drinking in because its a stretchy tshirt material - the perfect combo.

This isn't something I would normally wear but I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone, at the minute my wardrobe feels so boring.

Also at the end of the month its Slam Dunk Festival, is anyone headed to that? Im so excited because a band I have loved for over 10 years is playing and I am absolutely going into the pits.

Wow its been far too long

HI GUYS!

Wow its been ages, just thought I would give you an update on whats been going on.

These snaps are actually from last year, and since my lovely rabbit tattoo ive had quite a few more which is sick, my right arm is filling up nicely!

Last year was a mad, I cannot even. If my 15 year old self only new, she would be shooketh.
I spent it in my local tat shop as an apprentice. The opportunity was incredible, I absolutely loved working with the people there. But my confidence (lack of) got the better of me and it started having a negative impact on how I was feeling, so unfortunately had to pack it in. I wont go into it too much but quitting has lifted a weight off my shoulders. A positive is that no bridges have been burnt and I still love Emma (she was my mentor). Check out her Instagram here, her tattoos are fire. Also check out her fiances new cafe Monstera Canteen, he is building it from scratch, also its vegan and all made by him which is sick, you wont regret it.

Moving forward, I do need a 'creative outlet' as I work in an office which is obvs very business and not arty. SO I want to start actually blogging again, like often and not say i'm going to blog then go MIA for a year lol.
I don't really know what I can offer in a blog, but ya know a gal can try.

First off a couple bits I have done recently. Obvs the first one is inspired by the kween Ari and the second was is inspired by my love for avocados. I defo want to keep drawing and maybe in the future create prints (only if people are interested).

I also have a tshirt brand here, please go have a browse on the insta if you have a sec, I need to pull my finger out and make more though. This is my issue, I focus on something then it fizzles out. I am determined to actually roll with my blog and tees this year because I do love it, but I leave the house at 7.15am and get back at around 7pm for work, so motivation can be low, gonna try and turn over a new leaf though (hopefully). If you have any fun blog suggestions to read, fashion, music, home decor, art, then please let me know. I used to read so many and LOVE IT.

If you have made it this far, thank you for reading and I apologise for my terrible writing skills haha!
