I was lucky enough to go on an amazing trip with my friends firstly to Singapore to pickup/meet those who are not living in England and then all move on to Bali together. We landed in Seminyak and had a beaut 12 bedroom villa with its own pool, this was home for four nights until we headed to a few of the Gili islands.

First was Gili Air which was so chill and beautiful, we stayed in an awesome hostel which had a mushroom shaped pool and resident kittens. This was home for two nights before moving onto Gili Trawangan which was a lot more lively with lots of bars and restaurants. On this we hired some bikes and cycled round to the *famous* social media swing whilst the sun was setting which was amazing. The views were just incredible, I could watch the sun set over and over again and never get bored. We then had to say goodbye to Gili T and head back to Kuta, Bali to have one last night before flying back to Singapore. We had to say goodbye to those who live in Phuket, Singapore and Sydney which was very sad and head home back to England.
I am so grateful to have been on this trip with my friends I have known for over ten years, it was really odd waking up at home not surrounded by around 10 other people. I can now say I want to fly out somewhere else and explore the world. I have never been one who was keen to travel but after this holiday I am desperate to get back out into the world and see what it has to offer! I cant wait to start planning another trip whether it be close by or another long haul flight.
