Flannel Shirt and Daisies

Beanie - Warped Tour 13, Shirt - Dads, Top and Necklace- Primark, Jeans - Topshop, Shoes - Internacionale

I am about to go out for some dinner at Wagamamas and this is what I am wearing. I must admit I am finding these flatforms quite hard to walk in and my feet keeping sliding out but alas I am determined to wear them because they are absolute beauts!! This daisy top was an absolute steal from Primark as it was only £6 woo! I think it goes very well with this borrowed flannel shirt from my dad haha!!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

'She let me wear my chain and my turtle neck sweater'

Beanie - Warped Tour, Gillet, Belt and Turtle neck - Charity Shop, Necklace - Topshop, Jeans - River Island, Dr Martens

This is just an outfit I wore to uni last week, I wore the turtle neck to keep me warm as I always get so cold. The weather still has not made up its mind yet, some days its really cold and others its mildish. I might try and do a week in outfits if I remember to photograph every day!

We are Paramore

Denim Jacket - DIY, Shirt - Primark, Jeans - Topshop, Dr Martens

I went to see Paramore on the 28th of September and this is what I wore. Paramore are one of my favourite bands and of course I love Hayley Williams fashion sense. I have been listening to them since I was a teenager and whenever they come to England I always see them! I wanted to keep my outfit simple as I knew I would be standing in a hot crowd for a long time.
They put on such an amazing show and these are a couple of the many pictures I took that night. On their newest self titled album my favourite song has to be Last Hope, I can really relate to the messages they are portraying on this album and urge you to give it a listen to.

Drop Dead

Beanie-Drop Dead, Shirt-Charity Shop, Jumper-Primark, Necklace-Miss Selfridge, Jeans-River Island, Creepers-New Look, Coat-TK Max, Fur Scarf-H&M

I have bought two beanies in the last two weeks maybe, I don't seem to leave the house without either one at the minute either as they are extremely warm!
This is just a typical outfit which I wore to the pub the other day, I love the preppy shirt and jumper look and then added a bit of edge with a studded collar necklace and creepers. I love Winter purely because you can layer up without getting very hot!

Warped Tour 13

Beanie- Warped Tour, Necklace and Jeans- Topshop, Shirt- Primark, Dr Martens, Belt- Charity shop

Many apologies I have been so out of the loop recently. I recently started uni again and everything has been getting on top of me! But I think I am managing to balance everything out again *sort of*. I went to the Warped Tour yesterday at Alexandra Palace and had such an awesome day. Enter Shikari headlined who are one of my favorite bands.
I always like to get a cheeky bit of merch so ended up buying this Warped Tour beanie and had to incorporate it into an outfit today for uni, so here it is!

Baggy Jumper, Deathly Hallows and Ankle Boots

Jumper  and T shirt - Primark, Deathly Hallows Necklace - Ebay, Collar necklace - Miss Selfridge, Leather Leggings - River Island, Boots - Daisy Street

Sorry these last few months have been hectic with work, holiday and festivals. To top everything off  I am going back to university to study dietetics for the next 3 years!!!! As in freshers week starts tomorrow, crazy huh! I never thought I would be a  fresher again, it was this time 4 years ago when I first went to uni.

But anyway this is what I wore for a meet and greet with some of my new course mates, it was really nice to meet the people I will be studying with for the next 3 years. They all seem lovely and I look forward to getting to know them.

I decided to keep it simple and casual with a baggy jumper leggings and boots. Then thrown in a cheeky deathly hallows necklace!!

This is my transition from summer to autumn outfit, instead of baggy t shirts and sandals I have baggy jumpers and ankle boots ready to go.

Good Luck to anyone else starting university and I hope the people who are returning have an amazing time.

Iron Maiden Tee and Dungarees

Iron Maiden Tee - Ebay, Dungarees - New Look, Clutch H&M, Boots - River Island, Sandals - Asos

I am going on holiday in 3 weeks and have not really got the money to buy a new summer/holiday wardrobe! Soo I am attempting to use what I already have to put together some outfits, I really like this one because you have the edgy tee and studded clutch combined with the cute striped dungarees!

I cannot stop wearing these sandals, these are my new go to shoes at the minute and luckily its staying warm, which means I can get optimum use!!

Denim Vest and Floral Shorts

Denim Vest and Crop Top - DIY, Playsuit and Boots River Island, Clutch - H&M

I made this denim vest last year and still have not worn it. I thought I would style it and see what I could pair it with. The denim vest is kind of glam rocker, which I am loving! I would defo wear this outfit on a night out.

I am heading to Leeds festival this Saturday for the day and in a perfect world of sun and less beer being thrown I would totally wear this. However I think the fun of a festival is that you can wear some leather leggings a band tee and some Dr Martens and still look good! That is probably what I will wear, either my Iron maiden t-shirt or A Day to Remember t-shirt.

I might be going to York for the day on Friday because its quite far to Leeds from wear I live and I could bust this outfit out then but with some converse maybe.

Hope you like this :)

Neon Skirt and Cut Out Boots

Top - DIY, Necklace - Primark, Skirt - DIY , Clutch - New Look, Boots - River Island

I believe that I am going out tonight and as per decided ridiculously early what I would be wearing, so I thought I would take some snaps to put on my blog, which I know I have been rejecting recently!!

I originally bought the skirt as a dress from a charity shop which I chopped up and this is the outcome taa daah. I just literally cut the top part off above where the elastic sinched everything in at the waist. I thought I would keep it simple with the black crop top and orange clutch, then of course my cut out boots from River Island!
I am also wearing a multi coloured spiked necklace from Primark which has been covered by my mane!

Hope you like it!

Mish Mash

Shirt-Ebay, Necklace-Topshop, Top-H&M, Jeans-River Island, Converse, The one ring to rule them all-Ebay

This shirt was a bit of an impulse buy from Ebay, I really didn't need it but ho hum. I think you could customise one so much easier as well which would not cost you very much money. However what's done is done and I love it haha, I love the picture of AC/DC on the back who are a band I have loved since I was 14/15 not quite sure, so really I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Now the ring, that was another impulse buy because I had been watching The Lord of the Rings and obviously the normal thing to do is buy a replica of the ring, I bought it off Ebay for maybe £3 in total and have not taken it off all week! I really love it and will probably be one of my main pieces of jewellery for a long time.

Spikes and Hearts

Necklace-Lovefrommisbehave.com, Top-H&M, Trousers-New Look, Shoes-Daisystreet.co.uk

I went for dinner with my family and this is what I wore, luckily the weather was being kind so I only needed a jacket. I found these trousers in my wardrobe and completely forgot I had them. I think they work really well with this outfit because although they are formal trousers, the crop top and necklace pair well with them to make it more casual.

Pin Striped Shirt

Shirt-Charity Shop, Necklace-Lovefrommisbehave.com, Jeans-River Island, Shoes-Daisystreet.co.uk

My hair was pink again, any break from work and for some reason the first thing that comes to mind is I will dye my hair pink. I thought I would keep my outfit simple because my hair is a statement piece in itself to be honest. For some reason this shirt always makes me feel sophisticated, don't ask me why because I am not sure how to answer that haha! It was literally £3 from one of my local charity shops and its really soft, and is a staple in my wardrobe at the minute. I love the contrast of the orange necklace and shoes with the light blue in my shirt, it goes so well I think.

Pink Dr Martens

Beanie and Denim Jacket-Charity Shop, Hoodie-primark, Dress-Ebay, Dr Martens

These are the Dr Martens Drench Boot which are basically wicked cool wellies. They are the same material as a normal wellie and the tongue is attached to the boot which means no rain or mud will leak in and make my feet cold. What an amazing design, they are cute, cool and completely practical!!!
I basically bought them for Download Festival because I am not very keen on wellies to be honest, and these will be just as good if not better! I am so pleased with them and can wear them in my every day life not just at a festival. They can be worn with skirts, dress and jeans, I can't wait to post more casual outfits with them!

Grumpy cat Tee

Denim Jacket-Charity Shop, Hoodie-Primark, Tee- LoveFromMisbehave.com, Disco Pants-Topshop, Dr Martens

I saw this tshirt on the lovefrommisbehave.com Instagram and bought it straight away. It is the perfect white tee which goes with everything and is just funny, everytime I catch a glimpse of it I literally laugh out loud. I decided to put it with my denim jacket and Dr Martens and this is probably the outfit I am going to wear for Slam Dunk Festival on Sunday, because its comfortable and will hopefully make some people laugh!
Sorry for the slightly blurry photos, I will hopefully improve that next time.

But definitely check lovefrommisbehave.com out, I just ordered some jewellery from them and I can't wait to receive it! All their pieces are extremely affordable and on trend.

Pastel and Peace

Beanie-Charity Shop, Jumper,Tee and Necklace-Topshop, Jeans-River Island, Dr Martens

This is just a casual outfit that I wore to run some errands. I am still loving pastels this summer, they are so delicate and cute. My Dr Martens are perfect for this trend because of the pastel colours in the floral pattern to edge up an outfit slightly. I can't stop wearing them and I recently just bought some more for Download Festival which I will do a post about.

Two Wrongs do Make a Right

Tshirt-Ebay, Necklace-Topshop-Skirt-Charity Shop, Boots-River Island

I love the contrast of the fluorescent florally skirt (which is actually a dress) and the bold colours of the Iron Maiden tee. The necklace ties them together and just makes them fit well I think. I love putting together two items of clothing which you think shouldn't work but just do. Again in an ideal world of all sun and no rain this would be a great outfit for Download Festival, but the impracticality of the outfit won't work. I am going to an all day festival called Slam Dunk which should be good, could swap the skirt for some leather look trousers or some patterned trousers to jazz it up.

Cross My Heart

Dress-Charity Shop/DIY, Necklace-Topshop, Dr Martens-Ebay

Recently I banned myself from shopping in a desperate attempt to save some moneys, but that didn't go to plan when I saw this cute dress in my local charity shop Oxfam. I decided to add a little somthin somethin to it by sewing on a black cross which was made out of some t-shirt sleeves. I really love what it brings to the dress and just shows something as little as that can change a piece of clothing.
I go to Download Festival 4 weeks from now, in an ideal world of sun and no rain I would love to wear an outfit like this, however it is completely impractical for a circle pit and beer being thrown left right and centre.
I have bought myself a see through plastic rain mac and a bum bag which I am going to iron on a patch, just not sure what yet.

I will feature them in another post relating to festival wear.
