Sequinned Skirt

Leather Jacket and Fur Gillet-Charity Shop, Skirt-H&M, Top-Topman, Converse

I saw Lily from LLYMLRS wearing a sequinned skirt (Here) and was basically inspired by it so went and bought one myself!! I love Lily's style it is amazing!!

I love the skirt though, you can wear it casual like I have done or wear a shirt/sheer top with it to jazz the outfit up! Its the perfect skirt for Christmas because I am basically obsessed with anything that glitters or reflects light in anyway! Your basic magpie you could say!

Denim Jacket with Leather Sleeves

Faux Fur Collar-H&m, Denim vest-Primark, Leather Jacket-Charity Shop, Top-Missguided.co.uk, Jeans-Criminal Damage, Creepers-New Look

The jackets with the different sleeves have been a mega trend this A/W, I didn't want to fork out for one so decided to put my denim vest over my leather jacket to give the same effect. I really love the look and it also incorporates layering which is always a great way to make an outfit more interesting.
I haven't really been wearing my creepers very much because I wore them to death this year, after having a mini break from them I think I am ready to bring them back into my life. They always add edge to an outfit and a grungy look.

Lion Manes and Faux Fur

Faux Fur Collar- H&M, Denim Jacket-DIY, Jumper and Shoes-Primark, Cross Necklace-New Look, Skirt Topshop

I now have a lions mane boo yeh! My hair is also ombred as I had the ends of my hair lightened too! I needed a change and knew I could manipulate my hair to do something for me! And this was the outcome!
I bought this faux fur collar from H&M and is one of the best buys for this Christmas, it just dolls up any outfit and adds a bit of edge. I have been chucking it over leather, denim and coats to jazz them up.
It would probably be one of my key pieces for Christmas and I will defo be bringing it back next year, I think they are timeless and will be on trend for future years during the winter months.

Glam Rocker?

Earrings-Primark, Studded Denim Jacket-DIY, Top-Topshop, Leather Look Leggings-River Island, Boots- New Look

This is what I wore to see Steel Panther and my take on a wearable Glam Rocker look haha!
Sorry I have been so MIA, firstly eblogger says I have used up my 1GB of photo storage which meant I had to go back and delete some posts! How can I get round this or use another uploader for eblogger does anyone know?
And secondly I have been busy with work and because of my working hours it makes it difficult to take decent photos in the day, and partly because I still have no camera so am still using the old Iphone!!

Really sorry and I will try and upload more regularly if stupid eblogger gives me more picture space!

Polka Dot Pencil Skirt

Leather Jacket-Charity shop, Jumper-Missguided.co.uk, Skirt, Fur and Shoes-Primark

I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone and where this pencil skirt but in an every day casual way! I think I have achieved what I set out for. I just wore this to meet some friends for cake and soup! By pairing it with a slouchy jumper and leather jacket it defo brings the formal tone down!
Unfortunately I don't work in an office otherwise this pencil skirt would be perfect because compared to a jersey midi or pencil skirt its quite formal.

This week has been mega busy for some reason, on Thursday I headed down to the Hammersmith Apollo to watch Steel Panther who were AMAZING! If you do not know them their image can be described as glam rockers, which meant a lot of leggings, denim vests and bandana's in the crowd! So naturally I decided to let my inner glam rocker show through which I will share in an outfit post when the items are in fact clean. I had to throw them straight in the wash due to vast amounts of beer and sweat on them! I am pretty certain I got a whole cups worth of beer to hair and face when they first came on! I am assuming the person was just far to excited to hold it! I can't blame them, I think I would have done the same!
And I have now booked Download Festival off from work, now to just save up and buy a ticket haaah! Easier said then done!!

Tartan Shirt and Skull Jumper

Shirt-Ralph Lauren, Jumper-Missguided, Gillet-Charity Shop: Originally H&M, Leggings-River Island, Boots-New Look

I went to see James Bond last night with the fam and this is what I wore. I opted for something comfortable which meant my leather look leggings and a jumper. I love the tartan shirt underneath the knitted skull jumper, sort of preppy Goth? Maybe not Goth haha! My mum got this shirt from her friend, whose daughter let her look through her clothes, because she was clearing out her wardrobe! I then found this in my mums wardrobe and she said I could have it! Which is amazing because I blogged about needing something tartan in my wardrobe. It also has ruffles down the front which I will show in another post!
The jumper is one of the items I bought from Missguided.co.uk earlier this week a long with the vest. Its so cosy for winter and perfect to layer with patterned shirts!

Blazer and Galaxy Cross vest

Primark Nail Varnish-I am actually really impressed with it, it goes on quite thick and dries quickly! The brush isn't that great but its not too bad for the price and the quick drying. For £2.50 you cannot really go wrong. The pale blue is called Ice Queen and the sparkly nail varnish is called Brit Pop.

Fur Coat- Great Grandmas, Scarf- Alexander McQueen, Blazer-Charity Shop, Vest-Missguided.co.uk, Jeans- Criminal Damage, Shoes-Primark

This blazer can be really hit and miss but I love it so much, I sort of wish it was slightly longer because I really like the oversized look. This vest top is one of the purchases from Missguided.co.uk. it was £9.99 which I thought was a good price. I also bought a skirt and jumper which I will feature in another post. I went a little nuts this week buying clothes and jewellery! I am waiting on a parcel from a really cute/quirky online shop called Misbehaveboutique.com which I will do a separate post about when I receive them.

Hope you are all having a good week, if you would like to follow me on Instagram-@AshleighFlowers

Tartan, Embellished Collars and Throw in Some Patterned Jeans

Left to Right- River Island £45, Topshop £68, Zara £39.99, Topshop £20

Tartan has been catching my eye recently and it seems fitting for the Christmas period because of the colour red, obviously. Throw one of these blazers over a dress or jeans and it is instantly wearable. If you want to subtly clash patterns these trousers are perfect because of the dark colour/patterns they are perfect to wear with the tartan, sort of punk chic? The dog tooth Topshop jeans would also look great with a jumper and embellished collar which leads on to more of my favourite Christmas time pieces.....

Left to Right Missguided £19.99, £21.99, £16.09, £21.99

Missguided.co.uk have some amazing affordable on trend fashion on their website, for instance just this evening I bought 3 items which I will feature in a later post. Embelished collars scream party, glam, funk (I just love the word funk) and are perfect to dress up an outfit or just to add some fun to a day to day outfit by putting a jumper or cardigan over the top.

When pay day rolls in again (because as per I have spent my pay) I am investing in these pieces ready for Christmas because they can easily roll into January time. Ok so maybe Those patterned jeans will be within my reach soon because I can't resist them.

What are your key pieces for Christmas?

Leopard Print and Sparkly Socks

Dress and Necklace-New Look, Tights and Socks-Primark, Creepers-Ebay

I love the busyness of the collar and necklace together and the clashing polka dot tights! I am definitely a fan of mixing patterns and textures!
The sparkly socks are so cute and I love them because they are a little bit different to the normal patterned socks or frilly socks, a nice sock for the Autumn and Winter time!
I think peter pan collars are the perfect statement alone they are the centre piece and you can add jewellery or throw a jumper over the top and have the collar poking out to make it even more noticeable.

Iron Maiden Tee and Fur

Fur Gillet and Jeans-Charity Shop, Shirt-Topshop, Top-Boyfriends old top, Socks-Primark, Shoes-Ebay

I was heading into town and needed something I could throw on that was snug but not too warm because the weather is still not really cold yet! Its in limbo of being cold but not too cold. I thought I would layer up rather than committing to a coat and getting too hot walking around. Layering is always a favourite of mine for Autumn/Winter! I love the patterns on the shirt matching and clashing with the Iron Maiden tshirt!

Spikes and Ducks

Shirt-Topshop, Duck Necklace- Miss Selfridge, Spiked Necklace-New Look, Jeans-H&M, Flatforms-River Island

I love the ducks and spikes together because its a combination which shouldn't really work but it defo does! This shirt is so warm and comfortable, I am in love with it. Its so easy to wear and I love the leopard print in the shoes clashing with the shirts print!
Sorry about the quality of photos, my camera charger broke and I cant afford a new one till I have been paid so my Iphone will have to do for now booo.
Im so excited for the end of October because a couple of friends and I are going to see Bowling for Soup, I am literally so excited!!

Metallic pastels and Flatforms

 Jumper-H&M, Dress-River Island, Socks-Primark, Flatforms-Ebay, Scarf-Alexanda McQueen

As you may have seen I have changed my blog name and layout, what do you think? I drew the skull myself then uploaded it to my laptop and inverted the colours! I am quite pleased with it :)
The outfit is a simple look with some subtle hints of metallic such as in the shoes and jumper, I love metallics for A/W because it reminds me of Christmas and New Years celebrations. The flatforms I bought from ebay to wear to my graduation but decided against it. The jumper is from H&M and is a metallic black, which you may not be able to see in the photograph but I love it.
